Booktab: Interactive Multimedia Textbooks Platform
Booktab is an Android platform for interactive and multimedia textbooks reading and studying. It offers various features such as downloading textbooks chapter by chapter, interactive animations, high-resolution images, audio files in Italian and English, interactive exercises to test knowledge, and much more. The platform supports multi-touch gestures and built-in pens and highlighters to write down notes and underline the most relevant parts of the lesson. Additionally, you can bookmark the most relevant pages and find a word or phrase anywhere in your book with the built-in search feature. Booktab includes several CLIL (Content and language integrated learning) activities, and if a content update is available for a chapter of a book you own, you will be notified and given the option to download it right away. You can save your status and sync it across various devices and all the platforms. However, it is important to note that the application is in Italian only, and it supports Zanichelli textbooks only.
